What is PacketPilot?

Product Overview

What does PacketPilot do?
PacketPilot is a deterministic contract packet generator for real estate brokerages. Broker admins upload their PDF templates, map fields to coordinates, and agents then fill in transaction data to instantly generate consistent, print-ready offer packet ZIPs. PacketPilot eliminates the manual assembly step before e-sign, email, or printing.
What is PacketPilot NOT?
PacketPilot is not an e-signature platform, a CRM, transaction management software, a document archive, or a source of legal advice. It is a pre-step tool used before you send documents via your existing e-sign or email workflow.
Does PacketPilot provide legal advice?
No. PacketPilot is a software tool only. Nothing generated by PacketPilot constitutes legal advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of all documents you produce. Please consult a licensed attorney for legal guidance.
Does PacketPilot use AI to draft documents?
No. PacketPilot is fully deterministic — it places your data into broker-approved field coordinates on your uploaded templates. There is no AI drafting, no language model generation, and no variable output. The same inputs always produce the same output.

Accounts & Roles

Users, access, and permissions

What are the two roles in PacketPilot?
Broker Admin: Manages templates, maps fields, approves versions, invites agents, and controls the brokerage subscription. One broker admin per brokerage account.

Agent: Fills in transaction details and generates packets from broker-approved templates. Agents cannot modify templates or invite other agents.
How do agents get access?
Broker admins invite agents by email from the dashboard. An invite email is sent immediately via the system. The agent clicks the link, creates their account using the exact invited email address, and is automatically linked to the brokerage. Invite links expire after 7 days and are single-use.
Can I sign up as an agent without an invite?
Yes — you can create an independent Agent account with your own subscription. However, if your brokerage uses PacketPilot and you want access to their templates, you must be invited by your broker admin. Without an invite from a broker, you will only have access to templates you manage yourself (a future feature).
The invite link didn't work. What should I do?
Invite links expire after 7 days and are single-use. If yours doesn't work, please contact your broker admin and ask them to send a new invite from the dashboard. Also check your spam or promotions folder for the original invite email. You must sign up using the exact email address the invite was sent to.

Plans & Billing

Subscriptions, payments, and refunds

What plans are available?

Broker 100 Monthly — Up to 100 agents, monthly billing.
Broker 250 Monthly — Up to 250 agents, monthly billing.

Exact pricing is displayed at checkout via Stripe.
Can I get a refund?
No. All subscription fees are non-refundable, including for annual plans and partial billing periods. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will stop future charges, but no amounts already billed will be returned. Please review our Terms of Service for the complete refund policy.
What happens if I exceed my seat limit?
Your seat limit is enforced server-side. Once you reach your limit, new agent invitations will be blocked until you upgrade your plan. Existing agents retain access. Upgrade via the billing portal from your Account page.
What happens to my agents if I cancel or my subscription lapses?
If your subscription becomes inactive (cancelled, past due, etc.), packet generation is blocked immediately for all agents in your brokerage. Templates remain on file. Resubscribing restores access. Generated files from before the lapse that are within 36 hours remain accessible, but files already expired are gone permanently.
How do I manage my billing or download invoices?
From the Account page, click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe billing portal, where you can update payment methods, view invoices, change plans, and cancel your subscription.

Files & Data

Retention, deletion, and security

How long are generated files kept?
Generated packet ZIPs are permanently deleted 36 hours after generation. There are no exceptions, no extensions, and no recovery mechanism. Download your files immediately. This is not a document storage service.
Can I recover a deleted file?
No. Once the 36-hour period expires, files are deleted permanently with no backups and no recovery. You can regenerate the packet from the original job inputs, subject to an active subscription.
What happens to uploaded templates?
Templates uploaded by broker admins are stored until the broker explicitly deletes them. Templates are not auto-deleted. Only broker admins can delete templates.
Is PacketPilot HIPAA compliant? Does it store PII?
PacketPilot is a real estate software tool and is not designed for medical data. Generated outputs may contain transaction-specific personal information (names, addresses, etc.) as entered by agents. These files are auto-deleted after 36 hours. Template files typically do not contain PII. Review our Privacy Policy for complete data handling details.

Technical

Platform, browsers, and support

What browsers are supported?
PacketPilot supports the current and one prior major version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported. JavaScript must be enabled.
Is there a mobile app?
PacketPilot is a web application accessible from mobile browsers. There is no native iOS or Android app. For best experience, we recommend a desktop or laptop browser for template management and mapping operations.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud Storage) in the United States. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
